It’s been about 12 years since I jumped blue numbers and it was an amazing feeling to cross through the finish flags on Acrobat jump penalty free in the advanced division at Richland!

It was his first advanced and he really stepped up to the plate on cross country day. There are still a lot of improvements to be had in dressage and show jumping but I am confident that will come with time. If it was easy, where would the challenge be?

I’m looking forward to going advanced with Acrobat again at Plantation Field’s mid September.

Next weekend My Man Jack will compete at the Ontario Preliminary Championships. The Championships will be held at The Pan American site so that will be quite fun!

Iain and I had a quick trip to Montreal last weekend to celebrate my step father’s 80th Birthday. It was nice to get out of boots and breeches and put on a dress.
